<p>The traction inverter is a crucial power device in the electric vehicle’s powertrain, and its failure intolerable as it would considerably compromise system’s safety. For more reliable driving, installing that sufficiently resistant to electrical inherent. Due compact size small number of switches incorporated three-phase four-switch inverter, this modular topology was used compensate for open switch’s failure. However, known have manifold weaknesses mainly distinguished low-frequency region. This paper introduces new fault-tolerant indirect control handles IGBT’s constituting inverter. The fault compensator designed first based on Proportional Integral regulator combined with notch filter mitigate current imbalance restore DC voltage equilibrium.Furthermore, conceive comprehensive control, there must therefore contain an accurate detector. In regard, uncomplicated diagnosis method spectral analysis has been performed. effectiveness submitted controller validated by simulation using Matlab.</p>
